Pilates is a safe and effective way back to exercise following pregnancy
and childbirth. These designated postnatal classes will focus on
strengthening the pelvic floor, retraining the deep core muscles and
re-balancing the body with both strength and flexibility. The exercises
will help to improve posture and relieve any stiffness from the daily
strain of childcare, protecting your joints as the weight of your baby
The classes are relaxed, informal and provide an opportunity to meet
other new mum’s. Babies are welcome to the daytime sessions – feeding
and nappy changes can take place during the class.
Spaces are limited so booking is essential. The classes are in blocks of
4 or 6 weeks, but you can join at anytime. They are suitable following
your 6 week postnatal check, or 10 weeks if delivery was via c-section.
